As a beginner, it’s natural to seek advice. You don’t want to ruin your efforts. You want a flawless roadmap to avoid mistakes that other people made because you do not want any inconsistency. We’re all just scared of screwing up our own journey.
But think about it- if everything worked out just how you wanted, would that really help you? What do you actually learn from doing something flawlessly? Succeeding doesn’t teach you anything. The moments of learning are found in committing errors. To become great at something, you need to get comfortable with your journey being imperfect and making mistakes. Because that’s what actually counts.
Don’t ask someone how you can replicate their journey. Where’s the fun in that? Instead of asking for a step-by-step guide, why don’t you ask yourself, “What could make this journey more exciting?” It’s not about recreating someone else’s story. It’s about making your own.
There are numerous ways of reaching your goal. But maybe the lessons that are meant for you are hiding on your unique trail. You want your own set of stories, don’t you?
